In-game footage: traffic at Silk Board.
In-game Silk Board, now on the map
Crashes, falls and fights feel right
- A car scoops a person onto the bonnet instead of bulldozing them; riders knocked off a two-wheeler fly over the bars.
- Carjacks: the driver is pulled out and tumbles onto the road.
- No more losing health just sitting in a parked bus or tanker.
- Electric poles and concrete barriers are solid again. Speed breakers run kerb to kerb.
- Street-race rivals drive like they mean it.
The map reaches Silk Board
- Ride south through Madiwala, its market road and the underpass, all the way to the Silk Board flyover and the metro.
- Walled campuses, the storm drain, skywalks you can walk, petrol bunks, the pub streets and rain-tree avenues, closer to the real look at street level.
- Nothing stands in the road any more: gates, poles, benches and stalls are on the footpath where they belong.
- A Skip button on every cutscene.
Benglooru, and the area vote
- The game has its new name and logo everywhere. Old saves carry on.
- Ride to the edge of the map and a locked neighbourhood asks for your vote: Indiranagar is still looking for parking.
- Fewer unfair arrests: knocking someone over only brings stars if a constable sees it.
- Traffic honks about a quarter as often.
43 fixes in one night
- Night glare, the pause menu, the big-vehicle camera, the loading bar, traffic jams and race rivals getting stuck.
- The game moved to benglooru.com/play.
Cheats get their own box
- Press ~ to type a cheat, so its letters never open the phone or photo mode by accident.
- Clearer mission steps, wanted stars that explain themselves, safer traffic, buses on the main roads.
- Real school buses, ambulances and goods carriers; the fire engine drives.
The new look
- New characters, vehicles and city art, Chapter 1 polish, fights, missions and new voice lines.
