What makes it Indian
Everything here is in the game today.
An Indian city, not a made-up one
Benglooru is set in Bengaluru, starting with Koramangala. 80 Feet Road, Hosur Road, Sarjapur Road and the blocks between follow the real street map, squeezed to fit a game.
Indian traffic, Indian rides
Autos, scooters, city buses, water tankers, school buses and a fire engine. Eighteen kinds of vehicle, every one drivable. The horn is not optional.
Indian weather
The sky follows the live weather over Bengaluru. When the 4 pm rain arrives in the city, it arrives in the game.
Indian streets
Darshinis and filter coffee, the Sunday santhe on the footpath, gully cricket, gulmohar trees, potholes and a flyover that has been almost finished for years.
Indian voices
People talk the way Bengaluru talks: Kannada and English, mixed. The cheat codes are Kannada words.
No guns
When it turns into a fight, you use what the street has: a chappal, a tender coconut, a plastic chair. The wanted meter is called the Scene.
What you do
You are Arjun, new in Koramangala with one bag, an old scooter and a PG that wants ten months’ deposit.
Eight story missions and four side stories take you from your first food delivery to a meter fight at the auto stand and a night the whole city remembers. Between them the neighbourhood is open: take odd jobs in an ambulance, a fire engine or a taxi, race on the streets, lose the police, change the radio station, or just ride around at golden hour.
Press O for photo mode, or B to save your last 15 seconds as a video for the family group.
Where it runs
On a laptop or desktop with a keyboard: Windows, Mac, Linux or Chromebook, in a recent Chrome, Edge or Firefox. Nothing to install. The first visit downloads the neighbourhood once; after that it opens in seconds. On older machines the game lowers its own quality to stay smooth.
Want the details? How to play has the controls and what your laptop needs, and this page answers the no-download questions. The map shows where it all happens.
Questions

- Is there an Indian open-world game for PC?
- Yes. Benglooru runs on Windows, Mac, Linux and Chromebook laptops and desktops, in Chrome, Edge or Firefox. There is nothing to install: it opens in the browser at benglooru.com/play.
- Can I play it online, free?
- Yes. It is free, with no download, no account and no sign-up. Open the link on a laptop and press Play.

- Not yet. It needs a keyboard (or a controller). On a phone, the website’s Send to my laptop button puts the link where you will see it later.

- Bengaluru. Chapter 1 is Koramangala and the roads around it, down to Madiwala and Silk Board. More areas of the city come one at a time.

- No, and it does not try to be. The street layout comes from OpenStreetMap, condensed and simplified so a neighbourhood fits in a game. You will recognise the roads; the buildings, shops and brands are our own parodies.
- Who made it?
- An indie developer in Bengaluru, with AI tools for the code, the music and the voices. The About page has the story.
